Mortgage application checklist

No matter where you decide to apply for a mortgage, you will be asked to provide a list of documents to successfully complete an application and receive a loan. Here is what you will be asked to submit most often.  Keep in mind that every loan provider can have different requirements and other documents can be requested.

  • Application form that includes following information about you and your co-borrower:
  • full name, personal code (ID number), contact information
  • education, current residence, marital status
  • number of dependents, their age
  • monthly income, employer, employment history
  • withhold income tax from the State Social Insurance Agency covering past two years. You can authorize loan provider to access this information for you.
  • all your financial obligations (rent, credit card payments, student loans, car loans etc.)
  • information about your monthly spendings (transport, food & household, travel etc.)
  • information about collateral – value and ownership
  • Statement of bank account demonstrating amount of income
  • Statement from State Revenue Services
  • Necessary only if loan amount exceeds minimal wage 100 times.
  • Appraisal of the property you are buying
  • Property purchase agreement
  • Hazard insurance of the property
  • Registration of the pledge and ownership rights within Land Book
  • In most cases loan provider will offer to complete this step for you.
